Freezer Paper - so many uses!
Posted on
Freezer paper is America's best kept secret, not just for wrapping food!
Quilters - Great for English paper piecing; cut your hex's from freezer paper, lightly iron onto wrong side of fabric, turn seam allowances and stitch as normal. When finished pull out the paper and re-use!
Painting - paints and glues just wipe off the plastic surface.
Printing on fabric - gently iron the paper to the wrong side of your fabric, make sure no fabric threads are beyond the paper. Print on your fabric using an ink jet printer, not a lazer printer, after printing, iron fabric to set the ink. Remove the freezer paper.
